Auction Rules and Announcements

Our auctions are held online at:

Inspection: All auction spaces are prepped in the same manner. Photos are taken of the contents, spaces are locked and sealed with a numeric tag, photos are posted online when the auction is placed on StorageTreasures.com. The locks and tag are removed upon payment. All sales are CASH ONLY and are completed in accordance with the AZ lien statutes. Occupants have the right to pay and recover their belongings up to the moment the storage unit is SOLD.

Bidding: Bids are placed according to policy on the StorageTreasurers.com website. Unless indicated prior to the start of bidding, you are bidding on the entire contents of the storage unit.

Payment: Winning bidders must pay the successful bid amount plus a $100 cleaning deposit in CASH for each space purchased.  Once the storage unit is emptied and swept, the cleaning deposit will be refunded.  Winning bidders must settle the purchase at the facility office at the close of the sale.

Padlocks:  Our locks and seal will remain in place until the winning buyer has paid for the storage unit. Once the space is paid, the winning bidder will place their own lock on the storage unit until completely empty. 

Contents: AZ protected property under the AZ law means personal property, the sale or disposal of which is regulated by State or Federal law and that is one of the following: 

• Documents, files or electronic data that contains personal information relating to clients, customers, patients, or others in connection with the occupant's business.
• Alcoholic Beverages
• Pharmaceuticals other than those dispensed by licensed pharmacy for the occupant's personal use
• Firearms

cannot be sold at auction. Protected property must be turned in at the office for proper disposal.

Clean Out:  Winning bidders have 72-hours to clean out the storage unit(s) purchased. Winning bidders must take everything except the protected property. Winning bidders are to leave the storage unit swept and free of trash. Winning bidders may not use the facility dumpster. Winning bidders who pick and choose what they want and fail to take all the contents in the storage unit will be reported to StorageTreasures.com. Any items remaining in the storage unit after the 72-hours, will be deemed relinquished and will be disposed of.

Smoking: There is no smoking anywhere on the storage facility premises.
